Twice a month Lowes offers Build and Grow Clinics where children get to build a wooden project to take home FREE! Today’s project was themed after Disney Pixars latest movie Monsters University. The project was a Scarers Chest which was really cool because we just saw and enjoyed the movie Friday so this project was right on time for a day of family fun. This was the first of many clinics we will be attending sponsored by Lowes. The children have never used a real hammer and they were super excited to do so. Lowes has instructors on site that worked really well with all of the children. They went around making sure that each child had what they needed and sat down with them to help build the project when necessary. After the completed project, each child received a certificate, apron and a badge to be sewn on their aprons. Visit Lowes Build and Grow Clinics calender of upcoming clinics to register for their next event.
