There is something about puppet shows that both kids and adults enjoy. They are silly, funny and usually offer a good moral for the audience to go home with. Todays show “Time Capsule” by Blue Sky Puppet Theatre, was no different. It was a funny puppet show about three little pigs who work with a children’s librarian to dig up a time capsule that was buried 50 years ago when the library was first built. The characters delved into the happenings of 1963 and acted out the classic “Jack and the Beanstalk” and other childhood story time favorites. Part of the “Dig Into Reading” summer reading club, this event was held at the North County Public Library in Glen Burnie, Maryland. Check out their website for a listing of family friendly events.
